We are in anticipation of our next Linguistics Circle for February. This month, we have PhD student Namhyo Kim presenting a paper entitled “Considerations in Calculating Prominence by Verbal Aspect: Revelation 5 as a Test Case.” This paper seeks to clarify the relationship between verbal aspect and prominence through observing rank scale and grounding.
